The AGU Original rain suit has been chosen as test winner by the ANWB (the Dutch ADFC) and awarded 2018 for the best value for money in the category “breathable rain suits”. The original rain suit from AGU is back! This rain suit was designed in 1977 for a design competition of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management and won an award. Since then, it has dominated the street scene. Forty years after its release, the popular rain suit has been reissued. We have stayed true to the look, but have equipped the rain suit with all the modern features of today.

The rain suit has a matte look and is made of a material that makes the jacket waterproof, lightweight and silent. It is finished with a Poray 5000 coating. The seams of the AGU Original rain suit are fully sealed. Due to the double zippers, the suit is guaranteed rainproof. The hood can be easily removed. The jacket has ventilation over the entire width of the back. The sleeves of the rain jacket can be hermetically sealed at the wrist against water and wind. The front of the sleeves is slightly longer. The trouser legs have an extended front, which allows the trousers to fall well over the shoe, and can be adjusted accordingly using press studs at the ankle. The AGU Original rain suit comes in a handy storage bag with hand strap.
